5W Solar Panel
Jump on the 'Green' energy bandwagon with our solar panels!
Each panel is constructed in a heavy-duty anodized aluminum channel frame that provides a convenient mounting location and adds strength to the panel.
The cells are laminated between high transmissivity, low-iron, 3mm tempered glass and sheet tedlar-polyester-tedlar (TPT) material by two sheets of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). Further sealed by a layer of silicone caulking between the panel and the frame. This construction method protects against moisture penetrating into the module.

A Solder tab electrical connection is on the back of the panel, protected by a small plastic box. You will need a charge controller in-order to use this panel to charge a battery with this panel. Vetco sells several different controllers that will work with this panel.
Use it in conjunction with our DC/AC inverters for a solar powered emergency backup solution.
This panel does not include mounts, but standard angle brackets and self tapping sheet metal screws from the hardware store should get you started.
