This is a high-quality Wire Wrap tool for 30AWG wire-wrap wire and posts. The tool is designed to produce "Modified" style wire wrap terminations. A Modified Wrap includes coils of wire and a portion of insulation increasing the ability to withstand vibration. It's a more reliable way of producing a wire wrap connection. Functionally, the wire wrap process is identical to standard wire wrap tools.
This tool includes a built-in wire stripper, and is double ended for both wrapping and unwrapping wire. The body is aluminum and the shaft/ends are steel. The overall length of the tool is 4.5".
