This 4-Axis (X, Y, Z, Extruder) 3D Printer Controller board is based on an Arduino derivative, the popular and open source "Sanguinololu" controller. Powered by the mighty ATMEGA2560 and sporting a genuine FTDI USB interface, This is the same controller used in the Velleman K8200 / VUPN7944 3D Printer. It is suitable for controlling just about any 3D printer, whether you have built it yourself or are adapting it to a commercial model.

Header connections are provided for end-stops, extruder cooling fan, bed heat, extruder heater, X, Y, Z and extruder stepper motors, extruder and bed thermistors, among others. All of the A4988 stepper motor driver modules are socketed for easy replacement. Mounting holes in each corner allow this board to be mounted into any enclosure or case. A 5-Pin Mini-USB jack is the interface to your PC. External power is supplied by means of a 2-pin terminal block. Large, 100uf/50V filtering capacitors can be found throughout the circuit for noise-free operation.
