This device converts digital optical (toslink) or digital coaxial (SPDIF) audio to stereo left and right analog audio. This device is a must have if you have a modern Blue Ray player, Apple TV, or other device that has digital audio output only, and an older home theater receiver or television without digital audio inputs. The converter has an integrated digital interpolator filter and digital to analog converter (DAC). It accepts uncompressed digital audio and samples at 32, 44.1, 48 and 96 KHz. Supports 2-Channel LPCM and 24-bit SPDIF incoming signals on the left and right audio channels.
It is extremely simple to use, simply plug in your source to the Toslink or Digital Coaxial port and connect the RCA output to your stereo or TV audio inputs. The device requires 5VDC @ 1A and includes the power supply. It's small size makes it easy to tuck behind your other devices.
