This device converts HDMI to Component Video (Y-Pb-Pr) and Stereo Audio (Left and Right RCA).
It allows you to use an HD Video Source such as a blu-ray player, digital cable box, or laptop when watching movies or playing games on older TVs or projectors that dont have an HDMI input. If you are in a situation where you need to display an HDMI video signal on a TV that only has component video inputs, this is the box for you.

This is a "pass through" type converter - it does not scale the image - the input resolution on the HDMI side will be the same as the output resolution on the component video side.
