This small, light-sensitive resistor is simple to hook up and can control loads up to 25 Watts. It is normally used as a "dusk to dawn" sensor or resistor, turning on landscape or outdoor lighting at dark and back off again in the morning. It can be used with most loads, but inductive loads work best (incandescent bulbs, halogen lights, etc). Gets installed inline between the hot AC wire and your device.

NOTE: This should NOT be used for LED bulbs, fluorescent lights or CCFL bulbs. This is not a "switch" but more of a light sensetive resistor. The voltage drop caused by this photoelectic eye will cause LED bulbs to flicker or not operate at all. The same goes for fluorescent. Please use THIS ONE (VUPN7967) for LED and fluorescent. Vetco does not allow returns for the reason above.
