The typical properties are flame-retardant, good resistance to common fluids and solvents and high dielectric strength. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including electrical insulation, strain relief, cable bonding, color-coding and identification of wires, cables, pipes, and electrical and electronic components. It has gained UL 125°C recognition and the potential rating is 600V.
